As Chief Marketing Officer, I led the transformation of McKinney Economic Development Corporation into a bold, opportunity-driven brand—repositioning the city as a premier destination for business and growth.

The Challenge

McKinney Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) was ready to reinvent itself—but needed a strong strategic lead to bring that vision to life. Their brand and digital presence lacked clarity, cohesion, and competitive edge. They needed someone who could not only craft a compelling brand strategy, but also lead a cross-functional team to execute across creative, content, technology, and marketing.

My Role

As Chief Marketing Officer, I set the vision and strategy for a complete brand reinvention. I led a multi-disciplinary team of designers, developers, content creators, and marketing specialists, ensuring every decision aligned with a unified brand purpose and market positioning. From concept through execution, I oversaw the rollout of a full-scale rebrand, combining big-picture strategy with hands-on leadership across creative and communications.
